ABSTRACT. Carpathonesticus borutzkyi (Reimoser, 1930), known previously from Turkey and Abkhazia, has been recorded from the Crimea for the first time. The finding of C. borutzkyi is the first record of Nesticidae in the Crimea, representing also the northernmost locality of the species range. The species is redescribed and illustrated on the basis of Crimean specimens.
