ABSTRACT. The history of studies on moss flora of the Subarctic Urals, the sector of Urals between 64° 00' and 65° 40' N, is briefly overviewed. The list of moss species reported from this area since 1847 up to the present day is given. The list includes 265 species, with the indication of the earliest record.
