ABSTRACT. The Basegi State Reserve in Middle Ural is an area of 593 km2 situated at 58° 44'-59'N and 58° 20'-35'E, within an altitude range of 320-995 m. The list of mosses includes 201 species, with brief notes on their frequency and habitat preferences. The bryological composition of the main types of habitats and phytogeographic peculiarities are discussed.
