ABSTRACT. The present data on taxonomic composition, occurrence and reproduction of liverworts of the Severnaya Zemlya Archipelago, East Siberian High Arctic, are compiled and analyzed. Totally 49 species are recorded for the archipelago. Four species, including Scapania matveyevae sp. nov., are reported for the first time for the archipelago. Illustrated description, differentiation and consideration of taxonomic position of S. matveyevae are provided.
