ABSTRACT. Eremonotus myriocarpus (Carr.) Lindb. & Kaal. is for the first time reported from Russia. Description, illustrations, ecological characteristics and distribution of the monotypic genus are provided. The diagnostic characters of, and differences between, Eremonotus, Sphenolobopsis and Cephaloziella are enumerated. Sphenolobopsis pearsonii (Spruce) Schust. is excluded from the hepatic flora of Russia.
