It is found to be quite specific, comprising 110 species inhabiting exclusively or predominantly rock outcrops. Number of their localities in the Middle Urals, types of bedrock, altitudinal, regional and general distribution are analyzed. Annotated list of moss species with comments on morphology and anatomy of some taxa is provided.
