ABSTRACT. Alobiellopsis R.M. Schust., based on an identification of Alobiellopsis parvifolia (Steph.) R.M. Schust, is a new for Russian liverwort flora genus recently discovered on Iturup Island (southern Kurils, Northwest Pacific). The description of its morphology and ecology as well as illustrations of the species are provided.
