ABSTRACT. Anthoceros macounii is found in Primorsky Territory, being the first record of this species in Russia. The species is characterized by short capsule, 3-6 mm long, projecting from involucre 2/3– 5/6 of its length. The species is distributed in temperate and subtropical areas of the Eastern U.S.A. and Japan.
