ABSTRACT. Nardia hiroshii Amakawa is newly recorded for North America. The species is closely related to N. unispiralis Amakawa, but differs from the latter in bispiral elaters, larger and regular underleaves and rhizoids distribution. N. hiroshii is described and illustrated basing on the North American material. The key with notes on distribution is provided for all Nardia taxa recognized around North Pacific.
