ABSTRACT. The moss flora of an old broad-leaved forest in Kaliningrad Province including 85 species is compared with historical data, showing possible changes in species occurrence. Some species likely remained under-revealed in the province (Loeskeobryum brevirostre, Bryum violaceum, B. rubens, etc.), whereas there is some evidence of the expansion of others: Kindbergia praelonga, Fissidens taxifolius, Sciuro-hypnum reflexum, and Orthotrichum pallens.
