Abstract. A fossil representative of the leafy liverwort family Anastrophyllaceae is described based on an inclusion in Late Eocene Rovno amber. Based on morphological similarities the fossil is assigned to the extant genus Anastrophyllum, as A. rovnoi sp. nov., being the first fossil of this genus and the fourth liverwort from Rovno amber.
