Abstract. The bryophyte flora of Eriechka River upper course includes 66 species of liverworts and 262 species of mosses. Annotated list provides data on species frequency, habitat characteristics and associated species. Species composition in different habitats is overviewed. Distribution of some rare species, as well as a taxonomic status of Herbertus arcticus are discussed. Pseudoditrichum mirabile Steere & Z.Iwats. is found in Russia for the first time. This is the second worldwide record of this unique species with ambiguous taxonomic position, described in the monotypic family Pseudoditrichaceae. Differences in moss flora between Proterozoic siliceous limestone and Cambrian dolomites poor in silica are observed. Most Seligeria species in the study area were found in ecotopes formed by Proterozoic siliceous limestone.
