ABSTRACT. Sairam-Ugam State National Nature Park, administratively located in the South Kazakhstan region, consists of the southern mountain macroslope Boraldaytau, southern spurs of Syrdarya Karatau mountains, Mashattau mountains, spurs of the Talas Alatau range, Kazygurt mountain spurs, as well as Ugam and Karzhantau ridges of the Western Tien Shan. 36 species and subspecies of jewel beetles from 15 genera, 10 tribes, and 4 subfamilies (Polycestinae — 9 spp., Chrysochroinae — 9 spp., Buprestinae — 8 spp., Agrilinae — 10 ssp.) were recorded in the National Park, the highest numbers of species in the genera Acmaeoderella (8 species), Sphenoptera (6), Agrilus (4), Meliboeus (3). Analysis of the altitude zonal distribution, trophic specialization and zoogeographical features of the fauna of jewel beetles were also determined.
