ABSTRACT. The list of 51 species of plant bugs (Heteroptera, Miridae) belonging to the subfamily Orthotylinae (18 species) and Phylinae (33 species) collected by the authors in 2014 and 2015 and revealed from literature data from the South Ural Natural Reserve and the adjacent territory is presented. 11 Orthotylinae species and 21 Phylinae species are recorded for the South Ural Natural Reserve and the Republic of Bashkortostan for the first time. Analysis of the Miridae distribution types of the studied area showed the prevalence of Euro-Siberian, holarctic, and European ones; scythian (Euroasian steppe) complex of species includes 4 species. In aspect of latitude distribution dominate species with boreal-subboreal and boreal-subtropical distributions. Polyphagous and oligophagous hortobionts connected with Asteraceae, Fabaceae, Poaceae, etc are the most common among the phytophagous species. The zoophytofagous group of species is presented by tamno- and dendrobiont species inhabit Rosaceae, Salicaceae, Betulaceae and others families.
