ABSTRACT. 567 species from seven families (Nemonychidae — 2 species, Anthribidae — 18 species, Brachyceridae — 1 species, Rhynchitidae — 22 species, Attelabidae — 2 species, Brentidae — 125 species, Curculionidae (subfamilies Erirhininae, Molytinae, Cossoninae, Lixinae, Conoderinae) — 397 species) were recorded from the plains of Western Siberia, Kazakhstan and Middle Asia. 7 species were registered in the tundra, 14 species — in the forest-tundra, 221 species — in the taiga (41 species — in the northern taiga, 134 species — in the southern taiga, 190 species — in the small-leaved forests), 261 species — in the forest-steppe (232 species — in the northern forest-steppe, 182 species — in the southern forest-steppe), 163 species — in the steppe (147 species — in the northern steppe, 94 species — in the southern steppe), 95 species — in the semi-desert (89 species — in the northern semi-desert, 63 species — in the southern semi-desert), 276 species — in the cold deserts (69 species — in the northern subzone of cold deserts, 183 species — in the southern subzone of cold deserts), in subtropical deserts — 189 species.
