ABSTRACT. In East Siberia the dragonfly Orthetrum albistylum is restricted to thermal springs due to local climatic conditions; it was recorded from 16 thermal springs of the Baikal rift zone from the south-western part (North-East Pribaikalye) to the north-eastern part (Charskaya Hollow). The northernmost isolated localities of the species are located 770 km from the main part of the areal.
