ABSTRACT. The information on the discovery of Lestes barbarus in the south-eastern Baikal region (51°32'37" N, 105°07'35" E) is given. Data on the distribution of the species in the eastern part of the range in the south of Central Siberia, in Mongolia and in Northern China are summarized. This species is usually resident in the western part of the areal, but occurs sporadically in the eastern part of the areal.
