ABSTRACT. A list of 49 Erebidae and Noctuidae moth species is presented, of which 42 species are recorded for the fauna of the Bogdo-Baskunchak Nature Reserve for the first time, and 13 species are newly recorded for Astrakhanskaya Oblast. Species distribution in Middle and Lower Volga regions is discussed, and habitat preferences are provided.
