ABSTRACT. The species composition and distribution of geometrid moths of 10 xeromorphic phytocoenoses of Central and North-Eastern Yakutia are considered. The geometrid moth fauna of these sites is represented by 32 species of 18 genera and 4 subfamilies, with a predominance of Sterrinae (44% of the species). It is recognised that the northeastern communities have a depleted species composition (8), mainly consisting of species of Sterrhinae subfamily. The core of the fauna is formed by Trans-Eurasian species (28.1%), with a significant number of East-Siberian species (12.5%). The relatively high number of species of boreal and subboreal areas (21.9%) is noted along the latitudinal component, which is untypical for the geographical location of Yakutia.
