ABSTRACT Eight species of variegated mud-loving beetles (Heteroceridae) are recorded for the territory of Azerbaijan, of which two, Augyles maritimus (Guérin-Méneville, 1844) and A. turanicus (Reitter, 1887), are recorded for the first time.
