ABSTRACT. According the results of our research of butterflies in the lower reaches of the Ob River (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District), it was found 22 species of the butterflies of Papilionidae, Nymphalidae, Pieridae, Lycaenidae, Hesperiidae. On the basis of the ecological optimum of the studied species in lower reaches of the Ob River are distinguished the 5 landscape-zonal groups of butterflies that are grouped into three sets. Butterfly fauna in the lower reaches of the Ob River consists of widely distributed forest species, which inhabit tundra, forest-tundra and anthropogenic habitats. It was found migrant species.
