ABSTRACT. In 2015 black locust gall midge (Obolodiplosis robiniae (Haldeman, 1847); Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) has been registered for the first time from Bryansk area of Russian Federation in green plantings of Novozybkov. Currently this invasive species of North American origin actively spreads in Eurasia. Dynamics of the invider’s distribution in Palaearctic is shortly reviewed. This registration means the appearance of the third fragment of the secondary area of O. robiniae in Russia.
