ABSTRACT. For a comparison Ivela Swinh. genus with another several Lymantriidae genera: Leucoma Hb., Lymantria Hb., Parocneria Dyar, Euproctis Hb., Teia Walk., a feature chaetotaxy of the elm moth (Ivela ochropoda Ev.) caterpillar was considered. Elm moth’s caterpillar more similar with Leucoma Hb. and Lymantria Hb. larvae on number of features. The results confirm the former systematic position Ivela Swinh. genus that was determined by other authors on the basis of morphology features of others tussock moth life cycles.
