ABSTRACT. Data on the craneflies of the subfamily Chioneinae of the family Limoniidae from East Kazakhstan are reviewed on the basis of material collected by the author during 2004–2018. 53 species from the subfamily Chioneinae were identified, and three species, Cheilotrichia (Empeda) savchenkoi Devyatkov, 2017, Hoplolabis (Hoplolabis) rara Devyatkov, 2017 and Hoplolabis (Parilisia) staryi Devyatkov, 2018, have been described. Seven European species were newly recorded for Asia, and 26 species were registered from Kazakhstan for the first time. 30 species (63%) are Palaearctic in distribution, 12 species (25%) are Eastpalaearctic, 3 species (6%) are Holarctic, one species (2%) is Oriental-Holarctic, and two species (4%) are endemics of East Kazakhstan.
