ABSTRACT. 36 ladybird species from 19 genera (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Region of the Republic of Tajikistan are listed, most of which were previously known only for the lowland part of Tajikistan. Hyperaspis histeroides (Faldermann, 1837) is newly recorded for Tajikistan. Data on biotopes, preferred plants, over-wintering and aestivation of the species are provided.
