Abstract. The family Pallopteridae is represented by 3 genera and 22 species in the fauna of Russia. Toxoneura paralia Ozerov, 1993 is a new junior synonym of the Toxoneura usta (Meigen, 1830); Temnosira reducta Merz et Sueyoshi, 2002 is a new junior synonym of the Toxoneura orientana (Kovalev, 1972). Key to genera and species of Russian Pallopteridae and data on distribution are given.
