Abstract: Sceliphron curvatum Klug, 1801, a Middle and South Asiatic species invasive in Europe, is recorded in Russia for the first time. The specimens examined were collected on the Black Sea coast between Novorossiysk and Anapa cities (Krasnodarski Kray). The probable ways of invasion of this species into the Black sea coast of Russia are briefly discussed.
