Abstract. A new monotypic subgenus, Rasnichelonus subgen.n. (type species Microchelonus elongatus Papp) of the genus Microchelonus Szйpligeti from the south of Eastern Siberia and Mongolia, and a new species, Chelonus rasnitsynus sp.n. from Afghanistan, are described and illustrated.
