ABSTRACT: The genus Chorizopesoides Mi et Wang, 2018 is recorded for the first time from India. Two species are recognized: Chorizopesoides shimoga sp.n. (♀) and C. orientalis (Simon, 1909). Chorizopes khanjanes Tikader, 1965 syn.n. was found to be a junior synonym of C. orientalis, and the collecting localities of all five known Chorizopesoides species are also mapped.
