ABSTRACT. This paper presents data on new findings of 20 spider species from six families in the Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan, of which 16 species have been recorded for the first time. The six species Micaria subopaca Westring, 1861, Urozelotes trifidus Tuneva, 2003, Erigonoplus foveatus (Dahl, 1912), Uralophantes troitskensis Esyunin, 1992, Ero furcata (Villers, 1789), and Philodromus fuscomarginatus (De Geer, 1778) represent new records for the spider fauna of Kazakhstan. The need to clarify the taxonomic status of Urozelotes trifidus Tuneva, 2003 is highlighted.
