ABSTRACT. A new endemic species of Fossombronia Raddi, F. pseudointenstinalis is described from New South Wales, Australia. Fossombronia pseudointenstinalis superficially resembles the Australian endemic species, F. intestinalis, but differs in rhizoid colour and spore ornamentation.
