ABSTRACT. The annotated list of liverworts collected by the authors over three days in the Ritsa National Park contains 42 species, including Cephaloziella baumgartneri and Mannia triandra new for the Caucasus and 12 species recorded as new for Abkhazia. Distribution and occurrence of some sporadic and rare species in the Caucasus are discussed. Taking into account the data obtained, the list of liverworts known for Abkhazia counts 91 species, which most likely does not make up even a half of the species occurring in its territory. The subalpine and alpine zones remain completely unexplored in both the Ritsa Park and Abkhazia, and the epiphytic flora and flora of the Colchis limestones are also understudied.
