ABSTRACT. The data about locations of the mammoth wasp Megascolia maculata (Drury, 1773) on the territory of the Biosphere Nature Reservation “Voronezhsky” in 2010–2018 are analyzed. Megascolia maculatа imago probably independently penetrated into the Reservation in 2010 and 2013 from three directions (North, South and East). In the Reservation, two Megascolia maculatа groupings with stable regions of imago activity are distinguished. On the territory of the Reservation the probable average range of imago moving in two M. maculata groupings was small, in 2010–2018 it was 2.9 ± 0.8 and 2.1 ± 1.0 km. In 2010–2018 Megascolia maculatа invasion into the Reservation was little effective that is very likely due to the species antropogennoi and poor livestock activities in villages situated in the buffer zone around the Biosphere Reservation.
