ABSTRACT. The lace bug Monosteira unicostata (Mulsant et Rey) (Heteroptera, Tingidae), a pest of poplar (Populus spp.) and willow tree (Salix spp.), is recorded from Krasnodarskii Krai for the first time. The pest was found in Krasnodar in large numbers in 2018. An illustrated morphological description and general distribution of this species, information on a degree of the crown occupancy of the P. nigra L. by imago and larvae of M. unicostata in three points of Krasnodar are given.
