ABSTRACT. The data on the fauna of the crane flies Limoniidae collected during 2008 to 2017 in 11 districts of Pavlodarskaya Oblast of northeastern Kazakhstan are given. Consequently, 29 species from 12 genera and 3 subfamilies were identified and a new species, Dicranomyia (Idiopyga) oosterbroeki Devyatkov, 2013, was described. 12 crane fly species were firstly recorded for Kazakhstan including European species Dicranophragma (Brachylimnophila) separatum (Walker, 1848), newly registered in Asia. Distribution of the 21 species (72.5%) is Palaearctic, the 7 (24%) is Holarctic, and of a species (3.5%) is cosmopolitan within the 29 registered species.
