ABSTRACT. 40 Microlepidoptera species of the families Nepticulidae, Tischeriidae, Bucculatricidae, Gracillariidae, Argyresthiidae, Millieridae, Lyonetiidae and Momphidae are newly recorded from the Penzenskaya Oblast on the basis of material collected during 2020. As a result, 657 Microlepidoptera species from 57 families are currently known for this region. Several species are recorded for different territories for the first time, namely one species, Ectoedemia intimella (Zeller, 1848) for the Volga-Ural region, 4 species, Ectoedemia intimella (Zeller, 1848), Coptotriche gaunacella (Duponchel, [1843]), Caloptilia roscipennella (Hubner, 1796) and Phyllocnistis asiatica Martynova, 1955 for the Middle Volga region, and one species Phyllocnistis asiatica Martynova, 1955, for the Russian Federation.
