ABSTRACT. The article presents the results of studies of the structure of local springtail faunas in forest-tundra ecosystems. In total, taking into account the literature data for the bioclimatic zone between the tundra and the forest of the European North of Russia, 94 species of springtails were registered. An analysis of the fauna showed that the local fauna of springtails in the basin of the rivers Bolshaya Rogovaya (Bolshezemelskaya tundra) and Sula (Malozemelskaya tundra) is much closer to the tundra ecosystems of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug than to the forest phytocenoses of the Arkhangelsk region and the Komi Republic. The predominance of boreal forms is noted, the Arctic complex is weakly expressed and is represented by nine species. The springtail population of the main plant associations is characterized by the absence of specific species and the dominance of a few polytopic mass species inhabiting a wide range of diverse communities.
