ABSTRACT. In total, 42 aphid species and subspecies from the Apididae family and Aphidinae subfamily are reviewed for the West Kazakhstan region. Three genera, Acyrthosiphon Mordvilko, 1914 (4 species), and Uroleucon Mordvilko, 1914 (10), Macrosiphoniella del Guercio, 1911 (10) are particularly species-rich. Each of the remaining 13 genera include only one or two species. For the first time, 9 species and subspecies of aphids were noted for the West Kazakhstan region: Cryptomyzus (Cryptomyzus) korschelti Börner, 1938, Titanosiphon dracunculi Nevsky, 1928, Uroleucon (Uroleucon) leontodontis (Hille Ris Lambers, 1939), U. (Uromelan) riparium (Stroyan, 1955), U. (Lambersius) erigeronense (Thomas, 1878), one of which, Uroleucon leontodontis (Hille Ris Lambers), is new to Kazakhstan. Based on the previous two articles and the present one, the distribution of aphids across ecosystems, their trophic specialisation and relative abundance are considered, as well as a zoogeographic analysis.

KEY WORDS: Aphid, ecosystem, distribution, trophic specialization, type of areal, Kazakhstan.
