ABSTRACT. Two new long-legged fly species, Acropsilus guineensis Grichanov, sp.n. and Plagiozopelma kindiense Grichanov, sp.n. from the Kindia province of Guinea are described and illustrated. The new species differ from close species in features of the male genitalia and wing venation. A new synonym, Chrysotus gramineus (Fallén, 1823) = Chrysotus indifferens Curran, 1924: 231, syn.n. is proposed. In addition, 18 new species are listed for the Republic of Guinea, including 10 species, Amblypsilopus cilifrons (Parent, 1937), Asyndetus virgatus Curran, 1926, Chrysosoma gemmeum (Walker, 1849), Chrysotus gramineus (Fallén, 1823), Diaphorus blandus Parent, 1934, D. brunneus Loew, 1858, D. insufficiens Curran, 1925, D. lawrencei Curran, 1926, D. modestus Parent, 1931, Gigantosciapus kamerunensis (Becker, 1923) and Chrysosoma alboguttatum Parent, 1930, reported from the country for the first time. Keys to Afrotropical Acropsilus Mik, 1878 and Chrysotus Meigen, 1824 species are compiled. As a result, the dolichopodid species number in the Guinean fauna has increased to 37.
