ABSTRACT. 21 species of true bugs (Heteroptera) are recorded from Kurskaya Oblast for the first time on the materials collected by authors in Zheleznogorsk city and its vicinity in 2025. The distribution and ecological features are provided for each species. 16 species have very wide ranges: trans-Eurasian, transpalaearctic, and holarctic; the ranges of five species are limited to Europe or extend eastward into West Siberia and Kazakhstan. The predominance of species having wide ranges in the longitudinal direction is explained by the position of the northwest of Kurskaya Oblast in the north of the forest-steppe zone.
