ABSTRACT. In total 3181 individuals of 358 species from 49 families were recorded during a study of the fauna and abundance of beetles in an abandoned cut-over peatland in 2024. The data were obtained using various sampling methods and were then compared with each other and with the faunal materials collected during the previous year. Annotated species list is presented. Six ecological indices (the Margalef's and the Menhinick's species richness, the Berger-Parker dominance, the Simpson's dominant concentration, the Shannon-Weaver biodiversity, and the Pielou's evenness) were calculated for the general coleopteran assemblage, as well for assemblages sampled by different methods (pitfall trapping, sweeping by hand net in aquatic habitats). Different terrestrial biotopes studied by means of five pitfall lines were compared in terms of beetles' abundance, species richness, and diversity indices.
