ABSTRACT. A new species of the genus Anastrophyllum is described from the Los Lagos Region, Chile. The new species differs from all members of the genus by the very small size and Cephaloziella-like habit, deeply bilobed and entire-margined leaves, and the equally thickened walls of leaf cells.
