ABSTRACT. Three abacetine genera (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Pterostichini), Aristopus LaFertй-Sйnectиre, 1853, Cosmodiscus Sloane, 1907 (= Celioinkosa Straneo, 1951, syn.n.), and Metabacetus Bates, 1892, and their ten Oriental species, are reviewed. Three new species, A. humeratus sp.n., C. rufoapicalis sp.n., and C. sharovae sp.n., all from Vietnam, are described. Aristopus picturatus (Andrewes, 1920), comb.n., is transferred from Cosmodiscus to Aristopus; Caelostomus kaszabi (Jedlička, 1954) and Cosmodiscus latus Andrewes, 1947 are provisionally placed within Aristopus. Key to the Oriental species of Aristopus and Cosmodiscus is provided.
