ABSTRACT. No special studies on the millipede fauna of the Republic of Ingushetia have hitherto been performed, the known published records being quite few and highly sporadic. The fauna is summarized here and it presently totals 16 species from 13 genera, 8 families and four orders. All records are mapped, both new and old, several species illustrated, and each species account supplied with notes on its distribution. The fauna of the Republic is dominated by endemics and subendemics of the Caucasus.
