ABSTRACT. A giant cicada Uralontina khamitovi gen. et sp.n. is described from the Late Triassic of Korkino, Southern Urals. This is the first Triassic Palaeontinidae from Russia and the third palaeontinid species with a pair of large eyespots on its forewings, intimidating for the predator.
